Dr.Web CureIt! 扫描速度大大提高，主要依靠的是通过向各处理器内核分配扫描任务进行数据多线程处理，这一技术已在Dr.Web for Windows 7.0和8.0版本产品中得到应用。同时，Dr.Web Security Space和Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows7.0和8.0版本产品中新的Rootkit侦测子系统也在清除工具新版中启用。
新版中扩大了自定义扫描的可选择性，用户可以分别选择需扫描的对象：内存、引导扇区、自启动对象和其他对象。
添加了扫描过程中阻止访问网络的功能，这样就可以防止进行扫描的过程中发生二次感染和恶意软件活动。根据用户意愿扫描后可以关机。
软件的运行稳定性大大提高。基本上消除了扫描过程中因工具运行故障出现蓝屏的现象。
新版本新增个人电脑BIOS检查功能，侦测感染BIOS的恶意软件。
